As professional dancer, I find Karen’s lessons of great help to compliment my regular training. Her classes are enjoyable, healthy for the body, structured, and very complete. I can feel she combines a lot of different techniques in a very organic and progressive way. She constantly provides instructions to avoid dangerous positions during the different exercises. With Karen you can learn to work your body, change your body and love your body at the same time.

I am attracted to places that exude positive and progressive energy. After experiencing and working in some of the best fitness facilities offered in New York, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Amsterdam, especially since my Dutch was still… very basic. Mijn Engelse Pilates/yoga docente Karen Clark is een groot inspirator voor mij. Zij is zelf ex-klassiek en modern danseres en heeft zich gespecialiseerd in Pilates. Ik volg bij haar twee keer in de week groepslessen. Haar manier van lesgeven vind ik heerlijk. Je komt echt in een flow. “Léngthen your body, be Awáre, be proud”, zegt ze altijd. Haar boodschap: “It’s all about working on the alignment of your body, building perfect strength and flexibility” In haar Body + Mind School in Amsterdam nodigt ze ook regelmatig internationale docenten uit, super inspirerend! Pilates docent Alvaro Solano is naast Karen ook favoriet. Hij is het wandelende voorbeeld wat Pilates voor je kan doen: sterk én soepel zijn.
